01/2002 - 09/2007: Senior Scientist, Institute for Atmospheric Physics, Johannes Gutenberg University-Mainz, Department of Particle Chemistry

10/2007 - present: Professor for Experimental Atmospheric Research at the Institute for Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main

Research foci: Aerosol nucleation (especially ion-induced aerosol nucleation), atmospheric ice nuclei, airborne measurements, CIMS measurements of gaseous H2SO4, condensation particle counters.

Coordinated Projects:

program SPP 1294 "HALO"
