Anne-Kathrin Bernhammer

Anne holds a Diploma in Chemistry from the Johannes Gutenberg-Univeristy in Mainz, awarded in 2013 in the field of atmospheric analytical chemistry.
She is currently doing her PhD in Environmental Physics at IONICON Analytik GmbH in cooperation with the Institute of Ion Physics and Applied Physics at the Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck.
Her work focuses on the analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and their oxidation products in the gas phase based on Proton-Transfer Reaction Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (PTR-ToF-MS) and aims to improve the understanding of real time gas phase oxidation of organic precursors and their climatic relevance.
